Haus zum Kindli was first mentioned 550 years ago by the Saxon pilgrim Hans von Waltheym. In 1474, his travel journal described our House as an elegant pilgrims’ hostel. Visitors came every year at Whitsun until the Reformation, to the processions of Fraumünster and Grossmünster, which took place on the historic Lindenhof. This heritage prevails. Kindli continues to be a hospitable and cosmopolitan house, where the guests find a welcoming “home away from home” and experience a sense of belonging.
